About Snapshots by D.Bennett -Our Promise-

The term "snapshot" is what most would define as a casual photograph made typically by an amateur with a small handheld camera normally out of focus, imperfect, and poorly composed without artistic or journalistic intent.  In the world of professional photography the term is frowned upon. At Snapshots by D.Bennett we choose to embrace the term and use it as a reminder of where we started. Use it as a way to remember that no matter what the subject or the caliber of client every click is better than the next because it all started with one SNAPSHOT.

The snapshot concept was introduced to the public on a large scale by Eastman Kodak, which introduced the Brownie box camera in 1900. Kodak encouraged families to use the Brownie to capture moments in time and to shoot photos without being concerned with producing perfect images. Kodak advertising urged consumers to "celebrate the moments of your life" and find a "Kodak moment". – copied from Wikipedia
